News and press release distribution service Marketwire launched AP Mobile, a new service that delivers announcements to Smartphones. Clients in both the United States and Canada will now be able to leverage this new distribution channel. Quarter over quarter we are seeing an increase in the number of new smartphone users as well as those converting older mobile devices for smartphones increase as companies such as Rogers continue to fill consumer demand for more mobile content.
The service allows for full-text press releases and photos to be delivered to users of iPhonse, and BlackBerrys and other smartphone devices.
