When you think luxury brand, you probably have a certain image of what that type of consumer looks like. Well thanks to an infographic from market research firm Empathica, you now have a clearer and visual representation for both Canada and the US.
According to their data, 25% earn less than $30,000 per year, and nearly 40 percent are students. Store presence also plays a factor with 75 percent of luxury consumers suggesting they will buy nothing (or buy less) if there aren’t enough employees in the store. To them, customer service is key, if not the determining factor of whether they’ll shop.
