Logitech Names Environics Communications for Canadian PR Agency Of Record
Bruce MacLellan, CEO and President of Environics Communications has had a busy few months, most recently with the acquisition of Sequentia Communications. The team has also been hard at work drumming up new business which is starting to bear fruit. Their latest win is being named as Agency of Record for Logitech, a world leader and driver of innovation in PC navigation, Internet communications, digital music, home-entertainment control, gaming and wireless devices.
Environics has worked with Logitech in the past and help launch the “Harmony One” universal remote control in Canada.
“Canada is recognized as a digitally interconnected nation, and for years Logitech has been driving digital innovation in both living rooms and board rooms throughout the country, Bruce MacLellan, CEO and President of Environics Communications”
Will Bruce and Environics Communications be able to continue this type of growth for the balance for 2008, especially we hear of cut backs in sectors such as finance? Why has the company chosen this time to shift to a focus on acquiring more technology-based clients such as Yahoo Canada, SAS Canada and Logitech?

Thanks for your interest. Of course we’re extremely excited to be working with Y!C, SAS, and Logitech – but ECI’s tech roots run deep with longstanding clients like Palm, Ericsson, eBay, Fusepoint, CA, SDTC, Recombo, and many others. No shift occurring…

Hey Forde – thanks for the note! just a couple of points on this
- Environics Communications has actually had a focus on tech since inception in 1994 and has longstanding relationships with a number of tech clients
- Environics Communications took a minority stake in Sequentia, it was not an outright acquisition
Thanks!
Jen
