Here’s a great way to start off the New Year, get promoted to CEO!  Toronto’s Espresso, which is an integrated marketing agency has selected one of its own rising stars to take the top seat of Chief Executive Officer.  Jacquelyn Corbett Cyr (or Infiltrators as she’s known on Twitter) will be responsible for the firm’s overall direction, and continue to provide guidance with clients such as Samsung in Canada and United States, Sorenson Communications Inc. and United Way Toronto.  Jacquelyn has been with Espresso (originally called RetailCom) in 2004 as an Account Director and quickly rose the ranks within the agency. In 2008, Corbett Cyr was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and guided the agency through a major relaunch that included rebranding the company as Espresso, developing an internal philosophy around brand infiltration and expanding client services to include stronger consultative strategy, event marketing, and social media tactics.

Corbett Cyr holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Dalhousie University, an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, and is currently a doctoral student at University of Toronto’s Faculty of Information.
