Ian Barr has left his old position at Hill & Knowlton to become Managing Director for Rocket XL, a division of Cossette Communications which has been around since 2002 but is now looking to capture new business in Canada.
While Cossette has already been involved in social media campaign for its clients predominately under its digital division Fjord this move makes sense to help the communications agency capture the growing market share of social media business in Canada. Other firms have tried their hand at offering social media service and many have been one hit wonders so how will Rocket XL be different? Ian promises to share a bit more on that in the coming weeks.
