North American restaurant Hooters announced yesterday that they are going to provide support for the Prairie branch of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation in Winnipeg for the month of August to promote its “Grateful for the Girls” campaign.
”We were anxious that they came to us with a thought and a opportunity,” adds Jill Tanner of Hooters. “Hooters is full of Hooters girls and women and it’s a means that’s dear to us.”
The Hooters restaurant on St. Matthews Avenue is inviting patrons to show their gratitude through weekly wing nights, a Halloween-in-August party and by offering a Hooters-style Grateful for the Girls tank top for $25.
