Gail Asper and Kim Jasper recognized as Communicator of the Year by CPRS Manitoba

AwardsOn February 20th, The Manitoba chapter of the Canadian Public Relations Society will take time to recognize Gail Asper and Kim Jasper Communicators of the Year for their work promoting The Canadian Museum for Human Rights.Asper is the Chair of the private sector fundraising campaign for the Museum and Jasper is the Director of communications for the Friends of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.

“Both women have demonstrated excellence in communications and public relations,” says Adam Dooley, president of CPRS Manitoba. “Their work shows the power of a well planned and executed communications strategy. They have made outstanding contributions to our province and the people of Manitoba will reap the benefits for generations to come.”

The two women were two among six nominees for the fist-ever award for the CPRS Manitoba, where for their part Asper and Jasper planned and executed a sophisticated communications campaign that included strategies for government relations, media relations, marketing, fundraising and overall stakeholder management.
