Today, Edelman Canada announced that Paul Welsh has rejoined the public relations agency as Chief Commercial Officer, and will be reporting to John Clinton, Edelman Canada CEO. Welsh returns to Edelman to assume this national role after a six-month sabbatical.
During more than 18 years as Co-General Manager of Edelman’s Vancouver office, Paul led the transformation of the office from a research and public relations firm into an integrated, holistic marketing and communications company that is now part of the largest public relations company in the world. He also played a key role in the deal with saw Edelman acquire Karyo Communications in 2007 – the firm he co-owned with Patti Schom-Moffatt.
