Cision Launches QuickAlert, Television Monitoring Of The Masses

I love my Interweb (Internet), but I’ll still give credit for the power of the Television as a medium, especially as we look at major events that draw millions of eyeballs to TV screens such as the Academy Awards or Inauguration ceremony of President Barack Obama.

Cision, a firm providing media research, monitoring and analysis services announced this week a new service called QuickAlert.  The service allows communications professionals to monitor 100 Canadian television stations, and receive email alerts within 30 minutes of broadcast.  The QuickAlert also ties into Cision’s other suite of monitoring solutions which includes monitoring of social media.
